The Fragrances of Fall
Oct 16th, 2009 by possets
What are some of the scents we associate with Fall? Why do we think of “spices” when the weather turns cooler? Listen to this podcast from Possets wherein Fabienne Christenson, the president and chief perfumer of Possets, discusses some of the reasons why in Autumn, a person’s fancy turns to heavier scent. Always fun to opine on the intriguing topic of perfume. After you listen, take a look at the fall lineup at Possets Perfume, too.

Well-spoken, Fabienne. I especially loved that you talked about picking up a walnut and smelling it, not only the inside but also the green outside casing. I would not have thought to do that, and now I just want to go find a walnut tree in order to do so. You must be a very curious and in-depth explorer of your surroundings. I need to remember to stop and smell the flowers sometimes…or in this case-walnuts:) I enjoyed the podcast, thanks.
